I'm now able to generate and control a soap-like substance that will be able to remove details from objects. Details can be things like small holes, bumps, or scratches. Details are determined by the amount of space the soap covers. Meaning you could theoretically remove objects from existence if you covered enough of the air around the object in soap, although it would be mentally exhausting to create so much soap.
Little soap bubbles rise from my body as I quickly "simplify" my legs, thus erasing the holes in my body, since they are small enough wounds to be considered "details." His revolver can hold five bullets, as he said, and he just used three.
I can hear him climbing up the fence. Why would he need to do that when he could keep shooting bullets from over the other side of the fence? In fact, why would he target my limbs before just shooting me in the head, is that a limitation of the ability? Either way, if I can get close enough to him, I should be able to disable his gun. A head-on assault is what I need!
As he manages to quickly fly over the top of the fence and soar over me, I manage to run under him. As he's flying over my body, I hear the sound of gunfire!
I forgot that when gaining the ability to use Psynesis, my reaction time greatly improves. Either way, I need to defend my back!
By all means, Isaac shouldn't know exactly how to use that technique, but it came instinctually, like the ability to tense up your muscles on command. As the enemy's bullet collided with the back of Isaac's neck, instead of piercing the skin, instead a bright collection of yellow and blue circles came pulsing out from where the bullet collided, protecting him like a forcefield! The circles expanded throughout Isaac's body, like an intense ripple created from throwing a rock in a pond.
I turn around to see something unusual. For whatever reason, he's holding his gun sideways. Just as I thought that, the bullet that just bounced off of me... just bounced off of his gun! Luckily for me, it missed completely.
That's right! I didn't notice it at the time, but when I was shot before, on the other side of the fence, the bullets that hit me bounced off of me and went back in the same direction, before falling to the ground! He likely chooses a target, before shooting at something else to bounce the bullet off of. The bullet then likely hits the determined target, before immediately bouncing back to the target that the bullet initially bounced off of.
His reaction was strange... he was a little surprised after the bullet bounced off his gun. He definitely expected it, that reaction was out of instinct. It must be that he couldn't react to the bullet hitting his gun like I can!
Since he's still recovering from the second bounce that hit his gun, I run up to him to try and finish this in close quarters. He doesn't have nearly as much energy to fuel his powers as I do, I can feel it. That and my superior reaction time means that I can win this! I make no secret that I'm putting as much energy as I can into my left hand.
I sprint up to him as fast as I can, and I see his fist pulsing with orange trapezoids as he tries to hit me in my defenseless face. What an idiot. I manage to lean back to dodge his punch, and with everything I have...
"Analyze this, bitch!"
I slam him in his stupid face, and he goes flying onto a pile of bricks! As he's flying through the air, I shoot some Simplification Soap through the same hand, and let it sink into his gun, simplifying its insides, just in case he doesn't get knocked out.
Damn, I am a badass. Then I turn around to see... no ways of leaving. Since the cloth is over the chain link fence, there's no way for me to climb over it. There was the door, but that girl wanted me to be quiet. Oh, I should probably try to apologize to her.
As I turn around, I see the enemy trying to shoot me with his gun again.
"Why isn't this working?!"
"I simplified the internals of your gun."
"What?!" His confusion is oddly satisfying.
"All of the internals of your gun have been simplified, so your gun doesn't work anymore."
Actually, now that I get a better look at it...
"Hell, even the barrel has been completely filled with metal." I point out.
Just as he goes to look down his own barrel, I immediately go in for one more attack! This time, he defends his entire body, but the sheer amount of power is too much for him, and even the bricks that he's laying on crack, as his head whips back and goes limp! I take a moment to take his pulse... Yep, still alive.
Luckily for me, I have figured out a way to get out of here. I make enough soap to cover the entire chain link fence, creating a wall of soap. Since a chain link fence is more air than anything else, when I simplify it, all it creates is a wall of... nothing.
When I walk on the other side of the cloth, I see a familiar face!
"Ah, you're...!"
"It's Messa. You should follow me."
